Introduction:

Cross Fire is an online, military-themed, first-person shooter for the PC, developed by SmileGate and to be published by G4BOX and SilverBirch Studios. The game involves two International Mercenary Forces Corporations who are at war with each other. Players assume the role of either a Black List terrorist or Global Risk mercenary, and then join an online team that must work together to complete objective-based scenarios.

Character

OMOH

The OMOH is Russia’s special police force. They were organized in 1987 with the purpose of apprehending terrorists and preventing violent crimes. They are widely-known as the "Black Berets" or "Mafia Killers".

SAS

The SAS (Special Air Service) is a Special Forces unit in England. They have a long, storied history and are considered a prestigious unit within the English military. SAS is particularly famous for its rigorous selection process and strict entry requirements.

SWAT

S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics Unit) was formed in the early 1960s as a joint-military system between the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) and the FBI. Daryl F. Gates, then-commander of the LAPD, is credited with founding S.W.A.T. and has since developed it into a distinct and world-renowned crime-fighting unit.

SPOP

SPOP are a secret Special Operations force formed to combat terrorist activities and violent threats. They are best-known for their speed and agility in combat and their unorthodox tactics. Now mercs for hire, they provide their services only if the price is right.

GSG-9

GSG9 (Grenzschutzgruppe 9) is Germany’s Special Police Force, founded in response to terrorist attacks during the 1972 Munich Olympics. GSG9 specializes in hostage rescue operations, domestic counter-terrorism, and law enforcement.

MUTANT

Originating as a secret U.S. military project, "Titan" is a bio-weapon that utilizes nanotechnology to alter a subject's biological makeup, creating a cybernetic organism with increased combat performance.

MAIDEN

A bizarre amalgamation of the Mutant bio-weapon and Black List's Ghost stealth technology was developed by an unidentified weapons manufacturer. Maiden has escalated the Mutant War to new heights.

DREAD

Further research focused on augmented nano weapons was conducted on subjects from project "Titan", giving rise to this terrible instrument of war. Dread is a formidable foe, spreading fear into the hearts of human soldiers all over the world.
